Description

FiberCon MLF Concrete Reinforcement Fiber is a polymer-based concrete fiber that reduces the contraction and shrinkage cracks of cement-based products and improves resistance against freezing-dissolution, fires, impacts and corrosion. It homogeneously disperses in concrete mixture, consists of 100% polypropylene fibers, is not soluble in water and does not decay. It has highly alkali resistance and is also resistant to acid and base effects. Fields of Application and Use Fields of Application and Use FiberCon MLF Concrete Reinforcement Fiber ,is a universal product used in concretes, screeds, precast coating components and plaster mortar. ■ Used to prevent cracks in screed concretes, ■ As a passive fire protector in the coating concretes used in tunnels, ■ In cement-based mortars used for repair, plastering, leveling and insulation purposes, ■ On thin floors, ■ In precast and prefabricated components, ■ In the concretes to be exposed to thermal tensions, ■ In the concretes of car parks and ramps, ■ In field concretes, ■ In mezzanine, hollow floor and pan slab form systems. Amount of consumption varies between 450 and 1200 g/m³. Advantages ■ Reduces the contraction and shrinkage cracks of plastic concrete. ■ Increases adherence in plasters. ■ Ensures passive fire protection in enclosed areas such as tunnels, in the refractory industry, under high temperatures and in the reinforced concrete buildings that pose risk of fire. ■ Serves as micro reinforcement by being added into rough casts, mortar mixtures and premix products. ■ Increases the resistance of joints and concrete ends in edges-corners against breaking and fragmentation.
