TekDrain GGF 25 Green Roof Drainage Board is a material made of high density polyethylene (HDPE), resistant to plant roots and decay, preventing the dehydration of plants in non-rainy days, used for retaining water, with high compression strength and high resistance. Fields of Application and Use After İzoTeknik 5000 or İzoTeknik 6500 is spread over the root retainer foil, TekDrain GF 25 is spread over these two layers side-by-side in the form of boards without being overlapped. Following the completion of this operation, GeoTeknik 1100 PP is spread over TekDrain GF 25. The main purpose here is to allow for the plant roots to reach the main water reservoir by passing through the thin layers. Excess rain water is directed to the parapet by passing through the joints of TekDrain GF 25 boards thanks to the inclination of the structure and is discharged from there. TekDrain GF 25 is preferred for green roof applications because it is a durable product made of HDPE polyethylene. Due to its water retaining capacity in its reservoir, it helps the plants to grow without need for any extra irrigation costs. TekDrain GF 25 is shipped in the form of 2 m x 1 m boards.
