Description

They are geostrips derived by producing polyester yarns developed for reinforced earth applications with PE coating. Fields of Application and Use They are used in reinforced earth applications thanks to the high tensile strength and long-term resistance characteristics of polyester yarns. They transfer the load through a special combination with the reinforced concrete panel. The strips, which are constantly laid in the shape of Z within the ground, create the reinforced filled-wall structure together with the ground. ■ Expansion of divided roadsApproach walls for crossroads ■ Used in the places where expropriation costs are high ■ Used for the purpose of saving spaces ■ Bridged edge footwalls ■ Used instead of bridge elevation walls ■ Park and garden perimeter walls Advantages ■ ForTex Geostrips, which have high tensile strength and which are applied in friction with the ground, stabilize the filling by covering the horizontal loads in the filling. In this way, GeoArme Retaining Structure Systems offer rapid, cost-effective and practical application solutions. ■ Geostrip and filling create a composite structure. ■ It ensures flexibility in terms of design changes that might occur according to the ground and environmental conditions observed in the field. ■ As it is flexible, it is more tolerant to settlements on the grounds which are prone to settlement. ■ It has a wall design that can be safely used in both static and earthquake situations.
