The “RG” WATERSTOP profile is used for waterproofing purposes for connecting concrete casting and is watertight even under pressure.
It is used to both contain water when making, for instance, swimming pools, ducts, waterworks, reservoirs and dams, and to insulate foundations in general, tunnels and silos from water. The kind of PVC used means the waterstops can be used on concrete structures exposed to temperatures between -30°C and +70°C. This ensures noticeable resistance to ageing, chemical attacks in alkaline environments, brackish water and acid solutions. It is resistant to deterioration caused by the sun, ozone and other weather agents or chemicals normally found in the air and groundwater. It has excellent flexibility even at low temperatures. The mechanical properties are maintained in the long-term. The anchoring clips are used to fix the edge of the waterstops to the formwork.
