Costermans Garden is an East India Company wallpaper painted in China circa 1800. We were kindly given permission to scan it by Costermans, the famous antique dealers of Brussels, who have it inserted in their splendid 18th century boiseries. The wallpaper has a suite of identical trees of life, ornamented with large scale birds and remarkably Western-looking foliage, making this piece a charming example of fusion.
It is sold by panels of 90 cm width and in 5 standard heights : 225cm, 255cm, 275cm, 300cm, 325cm
It is available in 11 standard color options : Bone, Blush, Ivory, Crackled Beige, Chai, Charcoal Taupe, Sky, Jade, Butter Yellow, Powder Pink, Brown as well as in custom size & color.
In standard height 325cm the full decor is 15.3 m long without repetition. The majority of our decors loop. This means that last panel of each decor finishes where the first panel begins.
