Waterbased acrylic primer. Preparation of the substrate when applying IKO pro Slate Paint and IKO pro Wall Paint. IKO pro Acryl Primer is required on dusty or porous substrates made of concrete, fibrocement, tiles, or masonry or when the treated surface may be exposed to rising damp. 3 years in the hermetically sealed packaging, when stored in a dry, cool and frostfree place. Partly used containers may be resealed and used again after correct storage. To avoid the risk of spillage, always store and transport in a secure upright position. The substrate needs to be sound, clean and free from grease and nonadhering particles. Algae and fungi must be removed with a stiff broom and the surface treated with IKO pro Algae and Fungi Remover. The appication and curing temperature should be between 5°C and 35°C. Apply IKO pro Acryl Primer with a brush, roller or airless gun (nozzle 0.025 inches).
