Improves the adhesion to the substrate of both self-adhesive roof membranes and of bitumen roof felt with a lower surface protected by a macro-perforated thermofusible film at roof upstands. IKO pro Activator Spray is used as primer for the application of IKO carrara Secura on IKO enertherm MG insulation at roof upstands. 18 months in the hermetically sealed packaging, when stored in a dry and cool place. To avoid the risk of spillage, always store and transport in a secure upright position. The air temperature and the product temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C. If necessary, the spray can be brought to the correct temperature by placing it in a bucket of cold or lukewarm water. The surface should be dry, stable, clean and free of any loose particle. Apply 1 or 2 coats, ensuring an even distribution of the primer is achieved. If IKOpro Activator Spray is used a contact adhesive, both the substrate and the lower surface of the bitumen roof felt should be treated. Allow the solvents to evaporate from the IKOpro Activator Spray layer for 5 to 10 minutes (at 10°C). Apply the membrane to the prepared substrate and press down firmly.
