Oiva Toikka (1931-2019) left a remarkable legacy in Finnish glass design. Renowned for his imaginative, bold, and distinctive glass art, Toikka's creations stand apart from the mainstream Nordic aesthetic. The iconic N529 art vase holds a special place in his portfolio. Designed in 1969 and originally produced by Nuutajärvi Glassworks from 1970 to 1972, its unique design resonates in other notable works like the colourful PomPom vases. In a tribute to the original design, the N529 art vase now emerges in two beautiful colours. The combination of light and bold greens creates a harmonious feel reminiscent of Toikka's fondness for this particular shade in his glass art. The vases are handcrafted and mouthblown at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland. Limited edition release is numbered and restricted to 1000 pieces.
