iCoat’s ‘100% USA Made’ Countertop Epoxy will produce a crystal clear glass-like finish. Cures to the touch in 24 hours. Continues to cure over the next several days. Follow directions per the iCoat Countertop Instruction Manual. A 2 gal kit covers Approximately 50-60 square feet depending on experience. Application Instructions: Countertop and epoxy must be between 75-85°F (24-29°C). Humidity must be under 60%. Thoroughly mix equal parts of Resin Part A with Hardener Part B in a clean, dust-free container with a wooden paint stir stick. Stir for 3-4 minutes, continually scraping the sides and bottom of the mixing container as well as the stir stick. Transfer entire contents into a second container and mix for an additional 1-2 minutes. Mix a maximum of 1⁄2 gallon Part A to 1⁄2 gallon Part B. Mixing larger amounts will significantly decrease working time. Pour immediately onto the countertop leaving a small amount in a container for edges. Spread epoxy evenly using a foam brush. After applying, bubbles will appear. Use a propane torch held 6 inches from the surface and sweep rapidly across the entire surface until bubbles disappear. The process may need to be repeated if additional bubbles appear. This will leave a glass-like finish. For the best curing results, room temperature should be between 75-85°F (24-29°C). Cured to the touch in 24 hours, complete cure in 7 days.
