Description

Shotcrete construction technology by means of concrete spraying is widely used all over the world. Buildings constructed by this method are characterized by an unusual design and have a number of advantages in comparison to conventional construction technology. Inflating technologies allow to create the most diverse and unusual forms of constructions, whilst concrete depositing is used to provide these forms with strength and durability. As the result cast-in-place houses are built. Enclosure made of PVC fabric that is inflated with pressure equipment and creates a form of a future building is attached to a prepared light foundation. The next stage is applying on the enclosure of an insulation layer of foamed polyurethane and reinforcement. Then shotcreting – a process of pneumatic concrete placing – is performed. At the last stage decoration of the house takes place. The enclosure may remain on the building within the whole term of operation or can be removed from the building, in which case exterior finish is to be done. The advantage of a monolithic sprayed facility is that a deep foundation is not required. Besides, the building of such type has no roof as it is and, therefore, does not require any expenses on its making. А house created by such technology is so light that it can be erected on the roof of the existing building. Domed form of the facility (without angles) enables to save up to 30% on heating and conditioning of premises. Among advantages of monolithic buildings are high speed of construction, strength, ability to save heat, economical operation and wide opportunities on creating of attracting design.
