Description

Geothermal proximity probe, designed and engineered to optimise the operation and performance of solar-assisted (helium-assisted) water-to-water heat pumps. Even small spaces of land (gardens) are sufficient for installation. GeoBond consists of a double spiral of PE100 RC PN 16 DN 20 pipe fixed to a metal structure. The total length of the coils is approx. 145 m. During installation, the earth volume in and around the basket is filled with fine material (sand) with high thermal conductivity. A third coil consisting of a drip irrigation pipe keeps the ground always moist in order to maintain a constant thermal output in both winter and summer (water evaporation). Functionality GeoBond can be used to recover thermal energy (heat) in winter and to dissipate thermal energy in summer in combination with a HEAT PUMP for heating and cooling buildings. Inside the basket it is possible to confine approx. 7.5 cubic metres of eco-friendly material with high thermal conductivity so as to have available an accumulation of energy increased by the presence of soil humidity thanks to the innovative humidification system.
