The Monopole No1 Huguenot is made at Wardrecques in the north of France. It's a small format tile, with a slight camber and a roll.
The Monopole No1 Huguenot is highly recommended and thanks to the efficiency of the production site at Wardrecques, the level of finish is beyond reproach.
This contemporary tile, because of its size and colour scheme, is perfectly suited to newbuild and renovation in the north of France. In the UK the Monopole is more widely known and referred to as the "single roman tile" or courtrai style roof tiles which was first used in the UK during the 1930s ans is still being used today providing new build or refurlishment projects with a classic old tile with true character.
Possessing a broad spectrum of colours, it will provide a perfect match with the local countryside. Replicating the style of the old houses around Boulogne, the "Vieux Nord" (Old North) colour will soon prove popular, particularly for renovation work, where its discreet and traditional style will fit in perfectly with the environment.
