DUFIX 40t ECO2 is a next generation product based on URP (urban recycled plastic) materials. These recycled materials go beyond the simple recycling process. The DUFIX 40t ECO2 products are the outcome of the last stage in the recycling process. They are materials that have been already rejected for any other use and no longer form part of the chain in the plastics industry for recovery and use, and so their fate is to become DUFIX 40t ECO2 or end up on dumping sites. By using these materials, we contribute to a cleaner society, one where hundreds of tons of urban waste is generated every day. This new application was developed by Industrias Durmi, in collaboration with architect Marisol Carrillo. The combination of different plastics creates a mixture of stable and non-degradable products that are 100% recycled and recyclable. We therefore consider the DUFIX 40t ECO2 to be a product of high eco-efficient value. Converting waste into raw materials is one solution to pollution issues. DUFIX 40t ECO2: URP louvers of 40x40mm. Applied to opening systems by Industrias Durmi, it is perhaps the greenest building product on the market, not only due to its production cost in energy terms, but rather because it makes use of original materials to create a high quality object.
