From 2016 to 2017, the school association in Pirna converted the existing buildings into a modern school complex. In addition to modernising the existing buildings, the buildings will also have a new entrance area made of perforated sheeting. The new building is the connection between the two existing buildings and is to be used as an entrance hall and assembly room for all school areas.
