The Clash could not have said it better: Rock The Kasbah. Belgian Interior designer Peter Vanooteghem designed the lamps CYBE and FlyBe for DARK in 2002 thus ushering in a new era in lighting. In the same year, he won the Reddot Design Award for FlyBe. KASBAH is mysterious yet self-assured. By playing with tone-on-tone pastel tints, Kasbah can also be sweet and gentle or in combination with strong, bright colours, KASBAH is bold. A lamp you could tell 1001 tales about, but also one that could be used in 1001 places. Thanks to the different colour options, KASBAH can brighten a childs bedroom, playroom or living room or, thanks to its architectural aspect, become the perfect element in a hotel room, restaurant or commercial space.
