The Hoppy is Boos latest round shaped suspension light. The designer is Ben Oostrum, formerly known as MNO (Jan Melis &Ben Oostrum, now both solo). Hoppy is made from plastic. It will be sold as a flat package, meaning the consumer has to build it himself. Construction works a bit like putting a puzzle together, because Hoppy requires assembling different flat plastic patterns together until you get a ball-shaped light. Once built, the pattern in the plastic Hoppy sheds light in a visually enchanting way. Hoppy comes in red, white, black and orange, and can be used in restaurants, bars or simply at home. DARK promises the consumer a lot of fun building it.
