Description

Level, designed by Uwe Fischer, is a family of height-adjustable worktables that are quite unpretentiously committed to the idea of a workbench. This gave rise to a tool with “trestle-like substructures”. A highly functional item that adheres fully to the tradition of modernism and brings its functions clearly to the fore. Working while standing is becoming more and more popular “because it most closely corresponds to the fleetingness and speed that work involves,” says Fischer. The change becomes the actual constant. A quick meeting. Then the table top is lowered manually or electrically. Then it’s time for a snack. Here, too, we meet for an exchange, this time quite informally. The action takes place on the table, which is why we did not try to present the connections under the table luxuriously, but kept them very sober Level’s height is easy to adjust using a quick release or an electric motor. You do not sit down passively at this table, it is a work table or meeting place.
