A striped jacquard velvet, inspired by the repeated V motif found in historical Egyptian and Roman buildings, representing the symbol of water. This pattern combines this ancient symbolic and pictorial sign language with a range of modern colourings and also resembles the Point de Hongrie or Herringbone. Zig Zag is a two-toned velvet in viscose, with a cotton background enriched by the contrast of an irregular weft.
