Scanno is a village in Abruzzo, once very wealthy. Its wealth was derived from the abundant number of sheep present there. Some of the shepherd, wintering in Puglia, used to draw the Romanesque churches that they saw. In fact, the rose windows of these churches in Scanno, although of a later period, take their inspiration from them. The shepherds designs were the starting point for a fine jewellery tradition still present in Scanno.
In this same way, Colony has tried to evoke, symbolically and technically, the design as a velvet Epinglé with clear consistency. Scanno comes in 7 strong colours and is suitable for upholstery.
