We revel in collaborating with our clients, so we were honoured to be asked to collaborate with renowned US designer Campion Platt on his contemporary study for popular interior design exhibition Holiday House London.
Holiday House raises crucial funds for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation programs in the UK and we consciously incorporated this campaign into our design, providing a special opportunity to exhibit our extraordinary design and craftsmanship capabilities that resulted in a beautifully furnished environment tailored perfectly for business or recreation alike.
As with all our projects, we start with a sketch. This is to capture the essence of the space, whilst demonstrating how our bespoke handmade furniture and statement wall panelling would bring the whole environment together in line with Campion’s vision for the feel of the space.
The desk arrangement is the focal point of the room; a gravity defying surface adorned with fine burr walnut veneers – seamlessly flowing from the surrounding wall panelling. The rich natural tones of the walnut interior are complimented beautifully by the brass; enhancing each and every unique grain tone, from rich chocolate to decadent caramel – the display is then ‘topped’ with the hot raspberry leather spotlight detailing – making the representation look good enough to eat!
