Cimento®‘s research on the themes of sustainability and the circular economy inspired Elisa’s Ducale furniture collection, which consists of an armchair, a small table in round or rectangular versions, a console table and a bookcase.
Each of these objects was conceived from the idea of emphasising the contrast between sandblasted and polished concrete, so as to enhance the tactile and material quality of the former, with its rough and irregular finish. The furnishings recall the decomposition of solid geometric figures, and have been designed by Elisa to be assembled and recombined into shapes that seem to allude to the fascinating plastic presence of Brutalist aesthetics, to which the choice of a range of colours also seems to allude, giving space to neutral earth tones, of rigorous formal sobriety.
