Addressable systems work on a 2 wire loop system, each of the devices has an address and can reply back to the control panel giving its address and status. The control panel then analyses the data to establish the status of the device and can report devices as being normal, fault, pre-alarm and fire. The XP95 sensor range includes: optical smoke detector, heat detector, ionisation smoke detector and multi-sensor detector. The Discovery sensor range also includes: optical smoke detector, heat detector, ionisation smoke detector and multi-sensor detector. In addition to this the Discovery range also has a carbon monoxide detector and a CO/heat multi-sensor.
