The RJ67 grating by Cerámica Mayor refers to a piece of porcelain stoneware drainage tile with a characteristic structure, both aesthetically and functionally.
It is intended for the formation of surface drains in order to facilitate the passage of water towards a drainage channel in the floor. This grating is positioned and fitted flush with the floor, with the water passing into the drainage channel through the 27 through-holes located in the grating.
On the sides, a longitudinal guide is incorporated, configured by means of a hollow, along the entire length of the flat area, also open to the outside in the support area. These guides are designed to house shock absorbers so that the grilles, due to the fragility of the ceramic material they are made of, rest on the shock absorbers instead of on the ceramic material itself, thus preventing breakage. For this purpose, the shock absorbers are configured by means of a longitudinal extruded piece, patented by Cerámica Mayor, whose material is preferably a rubber to absorb shocks or small irregularities of the projections where the grilles are supported.
