Norfeu is a revision on the popular Square piece that incorporates a small overhang, as if it were a humble tribute to Cap Norfeu, which juts out into the Mediterranean Sea. Just this small detail adds dynamism to the traditional square grid, and allows for countless combinations. The collection presented in this catalog includes a wide variety of glazed ceramic pieces for various uses and in assorted sizes and colors. The base used is a mixture of clays from the area, giving them strength and unique properties for extrusion and single firing. The wide range of colors is derived from the clays themselves and from oxides applied together with a varnish unique for its transparency and smoothness, which gives the surface an appearance and texture similar to glass. The transparency of the surface and the unchanging quality achieved by the colors at a temperature above 1000° give a bright, warm personality to areas laid with glazed tile. The compatibility between different colors is surprising, which allows the most diverse applications and most imaginative combinations, always in a harmonious and pleasant combination. All dimensions are approximate. There may be slight variations among pieces of the same color or different colors. A joint of 6–10 mm is recommended. There are generally variations of color and mass within a single piece. Some pieces may have small cracks on the glazed surface.
