A favourable balance between geometric rigour and enveloping shapes designed by maestro Carlo Scarpa. The Cornaro armchair celebrates the encounter of two opposites gracefully resolved between the sculptural wooden structure and the generously padded cushions set within it. Every detail embodies Cassina’s fine craftsmanship, starting with the exposed black saddle leather laces contained inside a grommet developed to simplify connecting the backrest to the structure. CHARACTERISTICS The proportions have been updated, increasing their height and depth, through in-depth research carried out in collaboration with Tobia Scarpa. PADDING Recycled PET fibre and elements made of polyurethane with a percentage of polyols derived from biological sources and in CIRCULARREFOAM®. STRUCTURE Base in beech with glossy lacquer finish or ash with open-pore matte lacquer finish.
