The structure is made of lacquered wood while the base is obtained from a single block of metal, hollowed out and worked from the inside. The top can be embellished with marble or covered with a variety of materials. The original winglike opening of the side doors reveals the interior, and the high-contrast Moroccan earth colouring. The play of full and empty space and of contrasting finishes produce an alternation of light and shadow that enhance its geometrically pure shapes.
