It is an elastomeric modified bitumen-based, cold-applied, self-adhesive, multi-purpose waterproofing strip. PLACES OF USE It has adhesion on a variety of surfaces such as: • wood • metal • glass • plastik • plaster • concrete. It is used in a variety of repair and waterproofing works. SURFACE PREPARATION Surface to which it shall be applied must be clean and dry. All loose parts, form-detaching greases, residues, paint, rust and other poorly adhered materials must be cleaned off the surface. Metallic, plastic, etc. surfaces must be cleaned by using a proper solvent. BITUSOL or BITUMER undercoat must be applied to such rough surfaces as concrete, plaster, chipboard, etc. and left until the surface dries out. APPLICATION It must be applied by heating to increase adhesion performance at low temperatures. PACKAGING BITUSELF is packed in rolls of 10-15-20-30-60 cm wide and 10 m long. STORAGE CONDITION AND SHELFLIFE One year from the production date in case it is stored in its sealed and undamaged package in dry ambient conditions at a temperature from +5°C to +25°C away from direct sunlight.
