Gema is the new sofa Designed by Marco Sousa Santos and is inspired by the popular English Chesterfield sofa. This new approach to lounge area seating unleashes a "freestyle" system that allows for the creation of custom sofas for public and residential space layouts. Based on the functional modules of the Stereo Sofa by Branca, the designer transforms the traditional shape of the Chesterfield sofa with bolder shapes and challenges the experience of the upholstery factory in the search for an ergonomic balance between shape and comfort. Gema presents a complex combination of seating layouts for special interior design projects in a Custom-made approach. With double tension of colors between base, legs and body, Gema allows designers and architects to create special effects in their projects.
