Description

The Iggy double-sided modular sofa, designed by Castello Lagravinese Studio, was created after over 18 months of research and development. It features a system of 25 modular elements, including seats, backrests, and armrests. The elliptical wooden feet are CNC-manufactured with gripping rubber bases and painted in Iggy Grey. The seat consists of layers of polyurethane foam with perimeter boxing and memory foam, supported by a bent sheet metal structure and Baydur angular joints. The strapping system ensures optimal comfort. The backrests and armrests are made of polyurethane foam with metal inserts and feature curved lines reminiscent of a soap bar. The sofa is fully removable and assembled without metal tips, using the Berto Eco Seal Master machine, which eliminates solvent-based adhesives, ensuring environmental and customer health. This double-sided configuration, upholstered in Fun Lime fabric, is just one of the countless furnishing possibilities that Iggy offers. It is functional in terms of design as it allows the creation of various viewpoints towards different areas of the house, such as the dining table, television, or outdoor space.
