The Calvet mirror reflects more than time and place.
In 1902, Antoni Gaudí balanced the modest facade of the Calvet House with this beautiful mirror. It achieves a personality of texture and fluid, swirling form. It does more than reflect: the frame is gilded with gold leaf and the mirror is hand-shaped to form an artisanal sculpture that attracts the eye and conveys Gaudí’s expansive creativity.
The mirror is numbered and accompanied by a certificate signed by the director of the Gaudí Cathedra, certifying that it is a faithful and exact reproduction of the original designed by Antoni Gaudí.
