Installation Panelling can be installed in 2 distinct manners: traditional fixing, which includes using a nail gun on the tongue of the board (the nail is covered when the next board is fixed), or using fasteners. The fasteners enable quick removal of the boards (if necessary) without damaging the boards installed. Boards can be fixed to joists not more than 50 cm apart. It is recommended to end seal the back of the lining boards for timber homogenisation. If the front side of the boards are supplied pre-finished, also apply varnish coat to the back. If the lining boards are not supplied pre-finished, varnish only after the boards have been installed and sanded. A gap between board and wall is needed for expansion and will be hidden by skirting. Finishing touches Stain or varnish for clear finish/sealing.
