Floor-standing lamp Mangrovia

The inspiration for the 'Mangrovia Em Flor' floor lamp came from the observation of the winded and beautiful roots of the Mangrove trees which grow along the Amazonas. We wanted to recall the oversized roots of this tree and therefore created an oversized lamp. The stainless steel is shaped in order to achieve the organic form of the roots. The lamp Mangrovia consists of 18 mirror polished stainless steel tubes. Every tube is bent, cut, welded and highly polished by hand. The lampshade is made of golden aluminum blossoms. Dimensions: D133 Source of illumination: Three halogen/LED/Edison filament light bulbs, dimmable, wiring for US and European market available. Each Floor Lamp is hand signed and numbered by the artists (Engraved). 100% handmade in Italy, comes with a “Certificate of Authenticity”. The artworks by Barberini & Gunnell are regularly shown at international art fairs, such as PAD London, PAD Genève, PAD Monaco, Salon Art + Design New York, ArtMiami.
