Floor-standing lamp Mangrovia

The structure, the “roots”, of the floor lamp Mangrovia 'Em Flor' are made of mirror polished stainless steel, colored golden via a particular procedure. The floor lamp is composed of tubes of various diameters, the lampshade is made of golden aluminum blossoms. The lamp Mangrovia consists of 18 “roots” tubes. Every tube is bent, cut, welded and highly polished by hand. Floor lamp dimension: diameter of 133cm, total height 265cm. Source of illumination: Three halogen/LED/Edison filament light bulbs, dimmable, wiring for US and European market available. Each floor lamp is hand signed and numbered by the artists (Engraved). 100% handmade in Italy, comes with a “Certificate of Authenticity”. Inspirational background: Floating trees with unusual and contorted roots which spurt out of the water like spiders crawling on the surface; it was the mangrove forest, silent guardian of the Amazon River, who gave the inspiration for the lamp Mangrovia. The impenetrable roots transform into shiny tubes made from stainless steel, shaped and welded patiently by hand, one by one.
