This Louis XV style and basket-shape three-seated sofa has been created after a model of the sculptor and furniture maker Nicolas Heurtaut from the 1760-1765s. At that time cabriolet seats begin to appear with their curved lines and their whiplash armrests finishing in crozier. Made in French beechwood with a copper leaf finishing, the delicately sculpted flowers and vegetables' decoration come to soften the Rococo design of the whole structure.
