Description

Timeless in its expression and execution, the Tearoom Collection is well-suited to both period and contemporary environments. Like the Tearoom Club Chair, the Tearoom Lounge Chair and Tearoom Sofa radiate elegant yet strict femininity. Their embracing form, while alluring, stops short of being overly casual. The Tearoom Collection, designed for Audo by Nick Ross, is a study in minimalist luxury, offering indulgent retreats and mood-lifting comfort for a multitude of settings. Not only luxurious to sit in and beautiful to look at, the Tearoom Club Chair with a return swivel base is a functional addition to a space. Designer Nick Ross demonstrates the potential of simple, geometric forms and cocooning comfort with his Tearoom Collection for Audo. The generously proportioned Tearoom Lounge Chair, Swivel with return features a 190° rotating recessed plinth base that turns to face any direction with ease. Tearoom Club Chair In creating his new, fully upholstered lounge chair, Nick Ross envisioned a form ideal for exclusive hotel, club or lounge environments – as well as private living spaces that indulge the senses and our need for comfortable retreats. Ross’ inspiration for the design came from Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s Willow Chair, created for the Willow Tearooms in Glasgow in 1904. While creating the clean silhouettes of the Tearoom Collection, designer Nick Ross took exceptional care to imbue every inch of each design with mood-lifting comfort. The gently curved lines of the high-backed Tearoom Lounge Chair expand upon the silhouette of its predecessor to create a chair that offers a refuge from the outside world.
