Description

The STEELAB SAR planter with integrated water reservoir is made in France to measure from welded aluminium - the ideal solution for reducing the need for time-consuming watering and the risk of dirty water spilling onto the ground. The base of the planter forms a watertight plate with a side overflow in the event of overflowing water, to avoid the risk of rotting roots. The side walls of the planter and the base are flush with each other. The bottom of the planter forms a recess that fits into the base. This internal part is perforated to create a permeable separation between the growing area and the water reservoir. Aesthetically, the planter has smooth, uniform surfaces throughout its height, with a neat joint between the 2 elements. The top edges of the panels are treated with folds and counter-folds. The fixings of the planter to its base are not visible. The sub-assemblies are painted independently before assembly. Two finishes are available, depending on the constraints of the project: - Liquid paint - Pick-up / Epoxy primer / Polyurethane finish and varnish ; - Powder coating - Pickling / Epoxy primer / Polyester finish. The SAR range is made from 3 to 5mm thick aluminium, depending on the size. Naturally strong, light and durable, aluminium is an excellent choice for planters. Corten® steel or stainless steel versions are also available.
