Basketball backboard HARLEM

With its urban design, the Harlem backboard is made from 4-mm thick, zinc- & powder-coated sheets. The brackets on which the backboard is fixed allow hoop height adjustment: 3.05m or 2.60m for the youngest players. The brackets are in galvanized steel and mounted without welding to avoid breakage problems. They transmit stresses supported by the end of the hoop directly to the ground or the wall. Limited offset of 0.60m heightens unit robustness. The basketball hoop is mounted on urethane dampers which means that dunks can be carried out in complete safety. Inert and anti-aging, the dampers give hoops a competition sensation. Complying with European EN 1270 standard, the basket system comes in two versions: in the version to be anchored, the backboard is fixed on a hot-dipped galvanized steel post for minimum maintenance. Its round profile is safe when playing the game. It can be filled with sand to dampen vibrations. The wall-mounted version means that the backboard can be fixed to the wall in complete safety.
