2-way, mono amp 1 x 17 cm ferrite (1.5") 1 x dome tweeter (1") iX6W White version The iX6 is a small size stylish speaker intended for interior fixed installation. It features coaxial technology applied to an optimal 17 cm / tweeter arrangement close to the theoretical point source: the high and low frequency transducers are perfectly aligned physically for delivering perfectly linear frequency and phase response. As with the other iX series speakers, the integral baffle is designed to eliminate diffraction and provide a consistent, linear acoustic field. Acoustic feedback is therefore significantly increased even at close range. With its trapezoid shape the IX6 is discreet and stylish making it suited to all interior architectural styles. In can be positioned at various angles, mounted on a microphone stand, or wall- or ceiling-mounted using the optional accessories. Model iX6W is the white version and iX6COL refers to a version available in specific RAL colours. The main 17 cm loudspeaker gives this speaker a precision of sound comparable to the best monitoring speakers, especially in terms of voice reproduction and acoustic tone. With its very wide sound dispersion angle (100° up to and above 10 KHz), the iX6 offers extensive sound coverage from fewer speakers. In stand-alone mode, possibly without a processor, the iX6 is suitable for voice reproduction and ambiance music as well as for add-on sound (acoustic dispersion / acoustic opening / acoustic field).
