The APG6000 belongs to APG’s family of Matrix Array. The collinear technology of the Matrix Array technology is the foundation of the Matrix sound design concept i.e. the ability to create coherent configurations thanks to the simultaneous control of horizontal and vertical coverage.
The APG6000 comprises two individual speakers, 6000HI and 6000LO, which share the same external dimensions for easy mechanical assembly. It is designed for vertical line source coupling and long throw coverage. The dynamic capacity of the APG6000 and its impressive SPL-to-size ratio makes it one of the most powerful systems in the market. Based on the same ergonomics as the APG4000 system, the APG6000 is the dedicated long-throw complement for the APG4000. It is ideal for high power F.O.H applications, either on tour or in fixed installations, and for both indoor and outdoor use.
The complete ergonomics of the speakers, the hanging and transportation systems are all fully optimised to facilitate setup in touring conditions. The APG4000 and APG6000 systems are both compatible and complementary. They use the same internal components and technologies. They have in common the same horizontal dispersion angles, the same installation principles and the same connectors and flying systems. For very low frequency extension, the recommended subs are: TB218S and TB118S.
