The Stefan Lounge Chair is where timeless elegance meets unmatched comfort. The chair’s fine details such as organic armrests and openwork backframe rungs give it a lightweight, modernist look, while two independent cushions make it both comfortable and practical. The chair is available in oak with hand-sewn upholstery in textile and leather.
Designed in Poland in the early 1960s as the luxurious Type 300-139 chair, today’s Stefan is again manufactured domestically with finest craftsmanship and carries the aesthetics of Danish modernism with a unique Polish spin into contemporary interiors.
Stefan Series – where comfort meets functionality
The Stefan Lounge Chair was designed as the Type 300-139 chair in the early 1960s as an attempt to create Poland’s luxury export seater. The piece features a simple modernist form enriched by gently contoured armrests, reminiscent of Danish design classics.
Furniture from the Stefan Series is both elegant and exceptionally comfortable to sit in. Its light and organic look results from a number of fine details. A sculptural silhouette is defined by inviting curves that offer you a warm embrace, while the openwork backframe is decorated with wooden rungs.
The upholstery is formed by two independent and portable cushions made of high-density foam and set against bottom webbing straps and backrest rungs to provide outstanding comfort. To combine aesthetics with functionality, cushion covers can be easily washed or exchanged for new ones to change the look of the furniture at any time.
